I've been debating on which new pallette I should get: either the modern Renaissance or the swamp queen. which one is more pigmented, has better colors, has more versatile looks, and is less expensive? thanks so much.

I don't know anything about the Tarte palette, unfortunately Tarte is not available in my country. But I just got the Modern Renaissance palette and its gorgeous! The colors are beautiful, the pigmentation is great, blends easy and plays well together! I am very happy about this palette. I have the ABH self made palette and loved the formulation of the eyeshadows but this new formulation ABH used in the Modern Renaissance palette is definitely better!
But it's also a very red toned palette, so if you don't feel like red tones is something you use a lot or something you don't gravitate towards, then I would say get the Tarte palette.
The ABH palette is 42$.

I have the Swamp Queen Pallette and love it! It also smells sooo good! The colors are nicely pigmented and blend out so easily and I have already made so many different looks with it. It also has a blush, highlight, and bronzer that are all great. The bronzer and blush have a little bit of glitter in them but you honestly can't even tell when you put them on. The highlighter in the palette is sooooo gooooddd. It's beautiful and does have a little bit of glitter but it's not that noticeable and it's perfect for an inner corner highlight. The colors of the eyeshadows are both more purple and orange toned in the pallete and it has both matte and shimmers. I think the palette is very versatile. But I do think Modern Renaissance has more colors and it is more red toned. They are about the same price and are both good quality so it's really based on your preference. I hope this helps.

And also the Tarte Pallete is limited edition and the ABH pallete is a permanent pallete so you can always be able to find it if you decide to get the limited edition one.

If you like more berry or orange colors I definitely recommend the Abh palette. It is probably the more pigmented because I have it and it is very pigmented. But if you want something more neutral and versatile then the swamp queen palette is probably better for the job.

I have both, and I do prefer the colors in the Swamp Queen palette as far as eyeshadows are concerned. Not impressed with the bronzer or highlighter though. Totally glitter bombs. The ABH palette is good quality, but you have to really like red/orange tones to grab it. You can do a neutral look with it, but I wouldn't buy it if you're really only planning on neutrals.

Since the Tarte palette is limited edition and the Anastasia palette is permanent I say get the Tarte palette now and the Anastasia one later, that's exactly what I'm doing.

Swamp queen is great neutral palette and is nice but modern Renaissance is bomb! One of my favorites ever and I have hundreds of palettes. (Literally). With MR you can get vivid fun looks and super neutral everyday looks. You can't go wrong with either but if you like warm tones like tans and oranges and reds, get the ABH hands down.

The bronzer and the highlight in the tarte palette are shit so Don't factor that ABH doesn't have those in to the decision.
