I got my hair done and it looked cool toned and ashy (like I wanted it to) in the salon. I get home and my mum goes "it looks awful and orange" and now I hate my hair so much. How can I make it look less brassy/orange please??

I think your first step would be to contact the salon and explain that in natural light your hair did not look the way you wanted it to and see if they will fix.

Go back to the salon, see what they can c
do to fix it. That's happened to me before.

To maintain at home go to a Sally's and get a level 10 developer and violet toner. You can refresh during coloring. The violet manic panic stuff also realllly works. They have it on amazon. It's in a jar and straight purple cream You just put it straight on your hair and then wash out 10 minutes later.
