Oh damn. I've done that and it's painful. you need to be really gentle with your skin. no exfoliating. you'll want to use a really gentle cleanser like cerave. if you have a good facial oil I'd apply that too. it takes like a week for the burn to go away. good luck.

My burn was from my oven rack - I immediately rubbed jojoba oil on it and have kept applying it 2-3 times a day, it takes time but it does disappear eventually, around a month I seem to remember.

I did that too.. I used a formulation containing bp for getting rid of my pimples ( I was too young then and didn't had much knowledge regarding skin care). my mum rubbed almond oil gently twice a day and aloe vera gel once in a day.. it got healed in 8-10 days without leaving a scar.
