I bought mine almost 2 years ago and it's been amazing for my skin. I also have sensitive skin and I bought the sensitive head for my brush. I had a lot of acne scarring from having acne while I was pregnant and it faded the scars to almost nothing. also helped a lot with blackheads and overall made my skin look brighter. I did have a period after I first starting using it where my breakouts got worse but after reading about it online it's totally normal for your skin to "purge". I would definitely recommend getting one though, like I said it has made a huge difference for me.

Amber, may I ask what day and night cream do you use for your skin time? and how long it took to fade your scars?

Well when I first got the mia 2 I started off using the tea tree line from the body shop. I probably used that for about 6 months then I started using the cerave cleanser and moisturizer. the tea tree helped a lot with the acne but it was very drying for my skin. I also use palmetto derma collagen booster serum and mitchell and peach fine radiance oil. I got a sample of the fine radiance oil in a subscription box and I highly recommend for dry skin. it's amazing stuff!!

I've had a Clarisonic for 3 years now and it transformed my skin. More than worth it. I recommend just getting the 1st though because I have both (because I was traveling back and forth and kept forgetting it at home, so I went ahead and bought another because its that good; and that way I would always have one wherever I was). But anyways the Mia 2 has the settings but it honestly makes no difference to me, I recently bought a Mia for
my boyfriend and I just got the regular because its cheaper and the same thing basically as the Mia 2.
I have dry sensitive skin and I recommend using the delicate brush. Remember to not press the device in your skin, otherwise it will irritate your skin, just gently move it around, the Mia will do the work for you so no need to press. I also recommend using it daily. People complain it doesn't work but you have to use it everyday if you want results, if I don't use it my skin pays for it!

Welcome! And yes, well I love my Mia 2 but it is the same as just the regular. If I were to buy again, I would just go with the Mia because it does the exact same as Mia 2 and is $50 cheaper...

I've had my Mia for a little over a year and I have to ultimately say that this product did not satisfy me as much as I anticipated it too. When I first got it, I was so excited to get rid of the problems in my skin. I had huge pores and tons of sebaceous filaments. In the first few weeks I used my Mia, the "purge" period began on my face. I began to break out really bad and I've never really had a bad problem with acne so I didn't know what to do. I kept using my ClarisImpact because everybody kept saying how that was normal and that afterwards my skin would be better. So I continued to use it, hoping that it would soon deliver on the promise of making my skin great. Then it started making my skin really dry, but I think it was the face wash I was using. Now a year has passed and I'm still waiting for it to improve my skin. I do have to say, my skin is a lot better than before but it's not where I want it to be. Maybe that's because of me and not the product, but this is just my personal experience with it.
Another thing about the Clarisonic products is the price. I think the Mia 2 is priced at $150 right now, which is a big splurge. Plus, you have to remember to buy and change the head of the brush every 3 months. Heads are in the $25-50 range. All around, it's a very expensive product. Sure, they're fake/dupe brush heads out there but if you don't have the right brush, the whole product itself will not work to its full potential.
If you're looking for a skin cleansing product, I would look into the Luna by Foreo. I've been eyeing it for a while and it seems so great. My friend has one and she absolutely loves it. She raves about it all the time. The nice thing is you don't have to buy replacement brush heads for that product and its around the same price as the Clarisonic. In all honestly, I wish I purchased the Luna instead of the Clarisonic.
If you still want the Mia 2, I would definitely go with the regular Mia. The only difference is the Mia 2 offers another speed which in the end doesn't really matter.
I guess it really just depends on your skin. I've heard many people hype the Clarisonic and I've heard other people not liking it. For me, it's a solid product. Not really worth $150, but I still use it just about everyday because it really does make my face feel clean, it just didn't do what I thought it was going to do.

@Catelyn, have you tried different brush heads? It took me a while to figure out which was right for me but once I figured it out, it has only made my skin better. I never had the purging issue and my skin was pretty bad when I started using it. Do you think that you were pressing too hard? It will irritate your skin if thats what you were doing. I have super dry skin but I don't think it dries my skin out anymore than when I didn't use it before. Another thing, the Clarisonic can only do so much for your skin, its not going to get rid of large pores, there isn't a product out there that can. But, it can reduce the appearance...
I have tried the Luna and know some people love it, but I hated it, and went straight back to my Clarisonic. Yeah, it might be expensive, but if mine broke I would head straight to a Sephora or Ulta and purchase a new one. It is kind of irritating replacing the brush head, but I have actually saved so much money by not buying other skincare products because my Clarisonic replaced the need for things like toners, exfoliators, spot treatments, etc.
Sorry if this comment has offended you, I just am always curious when people say they dislike the Clarisonic because it has in fact improved my skin... I suppose its not for everyone, but I find that the people who don't like it either have really high expectations that it will completely get rid of pimples, dark circles, etc. forever (which it doesn't but I rarely breakout now), or they don't like it because they haven't found the right brush head, press too hard, or don't use it consistently...
