I'm looking into a new highlight but I'm not sure what to get? I was thinking maybe mac soft and gentle, mac pigment in vanilla or Mary Lou, I would like something yellowish based an glld flr fair skin, and I also really like an intense highlight! Let me know what are you favourites and why! Thank you:)

Well, if you want gold and sparkle the Becca highlights certainly fit the bill.

Even though Lou-manizer has a goldish undertone, I find it too light for my medium-olive skintone. I also think Soft & Gentle although very pretty, has more of a peachy-pink undertone.
For your skintone, if youre looking for highlighters with a gold undertone, I would recommend 3
1. Becca Champagne Pop

2. Mally Lit From Within Blush/Highlighter duo. There are 2 choices, Peach or Pink blush, but the highlighter is the same in both. I have to warn you, even though the highlighter is gorgeous and pigmented, the blush is not very pigmented. It can be used as a nice sheer blush or a blush topper because it does have a finely milled shimmer to it.

3. Laura Gilded Honey. Its the most warmest of the 3 and the packaging is very small. The size of a half-dollar. It has the same texture as Mally's, a gel-powder consistency so its not powdery so there is absolutely no fall out. Because of that, it will last a long time. Less chance of it cracking if you drop it. Becca's highlighters are notorious for being rather delicate when dropped, regardless of its sturdy packaging.
Fyi: Champagne Pop is more of a peachy gold & delicate.
Gilded Honey is the warmest & darkest of the 3 and small (good to throw in your purse) but has cheap packaging.
And Mally's tone is a brighter gold than the 3 and comes with a sheer blush & pretty , sturdy packaging. Also comes with an ok double-ended brush. Not the best quality but not bad and its very practical to throw in your purse because you won't need 2 seperate brushes for the blush & the highlighter.
Also, I know you said you were looking for products for fair skin, but your profile said you had tan skin. I had medium-tan skin in mind when I mentioned all these products. If you do have fair skin, these highlighters may be too yellow for you. So for fair skin, looking for a goldish highlighter, I would recommend Lou-Manizer or Becca Moonstone (although more of a neutral tone, to me, it may read a tiny bit goldish on fair skin.)

Oh marleen that mally duo looks beautiful. I went to ulta because I wanted gilded honey and yes that thing is tiny and the packaging is horrible they didn't have it in stock not even the tester they only had a tester for the other shade so I didn't get to play with it. I ended up ordering from birchbox. I hope I like the product because the size and packaging was a big no for me.

Maria, I'm sure youll like Gilded Honey. Even though its small, it will last a long time. Plus, because of its gel-powder texture, it won't thickly build up on the skin like a regular powder.

And also because its finely milled and of its texture , its been touted that it can be used all-over the face if you tread lightly.
