For some reason I have two big dry patches below the corners of my lips. They are really dry! Can someone help me with what to do!? Thanks!

This can be due to changes in the weather. As the skin around your mouth is thinner, it can cause dryness easier. Has there been any change in weather where you are, do you exfoliate and use a lip balm?

It can also be stress related and caused by lack of sleep... I had the same thing happen to me recently as I spent the month of December working 13 hours and it was 80 degrees here. I had to moisturize several times using a thick cream ( I use CeraVe which is loaded with skin repairing ingredients and very moisturizing ). If it still hurts a bit... don't exfoliate yet... give your skin a chance to balance yourself or it will sting. Add an oil for some extra strength.. an affordable oil would be Vitamin E or Jojoba oil which is also found in the skin so Jojoba will not clog your pores.

Could be the weather, an allergic reaction. I know if I use acids or retinols too close to my eyes, they get all red and inflamed and if it gets too close to my lips, the skin around it gets inflamed and develops a thick scaliness. I use an all natural salve and leave it alone til it goes away.
