Is Accutane Worth It?

For anyone who went on accutane. do you think its worth it? and if yes do you hav any tips for my skin because I heard it can b very drying.

My friend went on it and it cleared her right up after it was done, so yes it works. But it extremely drys out your face, she used moisturizer ALL THE TIME but it never could get normal again. I would exfoliate and use moisturizer. I would try not to wear any to a lot of makeup. But if you do wear makeup I would use a moisturizer that had a tint of color and coverage.
So like a bb or cc cream

I'm on my fifth month and yes it's worth it. My face just started getting better during the 4th month. You will get some oils back when it's over. Use heavy moisturizer at night, I even use oils. The only symptoms I've had is dry face, scalp, nose, and lips. It's worth it. But you don't just get it right away, it's all a long process.

Accutane is the only thing that helped my skin. There are some side effects that I experienced that I would be wary of, but overall I am glad I used it. I will probably go on it again to clear up the last of my acne. Obviously the usual dryness was present, but the main negative effect I had was stomach irritation. After stopping my course of accutane, for the next year I would have stomach irritation/IBS every time I ate. I learned to deal with this, but it was unpleasant.
