I dyed my hair black at the end of may and now it's like this dark brownish color but my roots are also showing and they're a dishwater blonde tone. I'm not sure if I want to dye it black again but I was just wondering what colors I'd be able to dye it without having to bleach it??

I don't think you're going to be able to do any color that's lighter than the color it is now without bleach.

Would it be possible to get a dark purple or black with a purple tint?

Nothing is going to lift the black hair dye. I suggest to use a color remover if you decide to remove the black instead of using bleach. You could try one n only hair color with vol 30 peroxide, they have dark purple
