Lately I've been looking for makeup brushes and I've found Coastal Scents online and I'm wondering how their brushes are. Do they withstand cleaning very well? Do they stay in shape? Are they good quality?

I've heard mixed reviews, but I can honestly say that for the price point I've had a pretty good experience with mine. No shedding, they're quite soft, no loose ferrules, etc. However, the only ones I've tried are from the Elite line (which are still inexpensive), so I can't speak to the rest of their brushes. I really enjoy the Buffer Brush for liquid foundation/tinted moisturizer, and they don't do too badly with powder brushes either in my opinion.
I also enjoy ELF synthetic brushes. Every once in a while there will be a bristle out of line or a slightly lose ferrule, but for the price they've served me well and those are minor issues that I can manually fix with tweezers/glue; after that they hold up forever.

I like them, but I prefer e.l.f, real techniques, and Eco tools. And I really recommend the up n up foundation blush.
