Hiya. I'm going to a new school on September. At my current school I use coloured thick hair bands as my hairs is soooo think. But at my new school I'm only allowed black hair bands or green or grey. So these are the usual thin ones. My hair doesn't usually fit in them and I was practicing yesterday and it suddenly does. But when I run it falls down. It's a very high ponytail. Do you reccomend I do it up with 2 hair bands? What do you guys reccomend? My hair is between shoulder and hip length. Thanks in advance guys.

Make it even tighter then I suppose.
Either that or find the thicker type in the necessary color. Not too hard to find hair ties. 99 cent store. Bam.

Not sure where you are but I'm in England (I'm guessing you are too by starting school in September and the use of "colour"). Primark do packs of black hair bands for about 1.50, they do really thick ones and they're good hairbands. Alternatively, you could get the no crease hairbands that look like this as they're not like traditional hairbands and so don't break as easy and I find they're grippier than normal bands. You could try using two hairbands but I'd personally be worried about breakage. These are no crease hairbands

Primarks great, I get so much from there :) I believe Superdrug also do grippy hairbands which are like little wiggles that hold the hair up

I always wrap my ponytail around three to four times, and my hair is thick as all get out. It would stay, even when my hair was waist length.

Well, I use the hair ties form forever 21. They are only $1 and they hold really well. I hope I helped :)
