What feature in particular are you trying to emphasise? or do you just want to slim your face? what do you usually try that doesn't work?

That particular picture isn't all that accurate for a round face IMO.
With a round face you'd get better results not contour the middle/top of the forehead.
You'll also want to add some contour to your jaw and kind of around the temples.
Basically the sides of the face.
Contouring the top/middle of the forehead can shorten/round the face rather than give the appearance of a longer/slim face.

You'll contour under the cheekbone and focus more color there as well as the sides of the forehead and sort of blend to the other areas.

I have a round face and I only contour under my cheekbones, it helps give me a bit more of an angular look with more face structure

I use the Freedom cream contour kit however I also use the Sleek powder contour kit in Light and they're both amazing drugstore products. I use them to slim my cheeks too.

^ As Jay here demonstrated, another great trick to slim down the face is a center part and hair down. If you want your hair up, keep two tendrils in the front to keep the visual effect ;)

Yes, I've been trying this style for a while and it also helps a lot. You can also try side swept bangs. Worked for me before :)

Adding to my previous comments, I also had a middle part and I find it really helps with slimming the face. I always have my hair down and if I don't I leave a little bit at the front down (like a few strays) just so it gives my face the illusion of hair there
