This is my gorgeous 30-year-old daughter. She is wearing foundation (Estée Lauder Double Wear) and probably some bronzer. She has damaged her skin so badly from sun exposure and it makes me crazy. She's getting married next month and being that it's going to be in Hawaii, she opted to not have any kind of peel or lightening treatment, as she and her friends want to sunbathe while in Hawaii :(
I recommended the EL Double Wear to her upon so many of your recommendations. While the color she has seems good as far as where her natural skin color shows through, as you can see, it does very little to mask her malasma. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to give her skin a more even tone?

EmilyNoel83 on YouTube has a full video on how she covered her melasma when she was pregnant so I recommend checking that off! The only thing I can remember she used off the top of my head is the Estée Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover (:

I just wanted to add that she plans to have Temptu air-brushed foundation applied for her wedding (upon Miss Jacqueline's recommendation!). Does anyone know if the Temptu will enhance the coverage or evening of the tone?

Thank you Alexis! I will definitely check that video out! There are 2 different Double Wears? Hmmmm...I wonder which one she has...?
I think it bothers me much more than it bothers my daughter, but I will attempt to find anything!

Yes, there's the Double Wear in the glass bottle and Double Wear Maximum Cover in a blue tube. The Maximum Cover has the fullest full coverage I've ever used in a foundation.

I just watched the video, Alexis, and it was great! Sent it off to my daughter - hope she'll watch it ;)
Thanks again!

I think her skin makes her look young and fresh! They look like cute freckels! I don't know much about covering up, because I like to let my skin, sun damage and all, peek through my foundation - But I did wanna say your daughter is beautiful and looks so much like you! Hope you both have a beautiful wedding!

Thank you Sabrina! So sweet of you! Unfortunately, her forehead and the sides of her face have more than just freckles. She is much less of a perfectionist than I am and aside from the risks she takes with the sun, I'm glad she's as obsessed as I am! ;)
We are so excited!

Definitely go with the max coverage. I have tried both and you can't beat the max coverage one. covers everything.

Congratulations, Chris. She is beautiful...just like you.

You know I was going to say a serious of peels or IPL, until I read that she'd be sunbathing...lol

You might want to hit up Ms. Jacqueline's profile in case she doesn't see this.
Best of luck to you both.  :)

Thanks Rozberry! Yeah, I offered to get her those! And I would love to get Jacqueline's take on this, however she already recommended the Temptu Airbrush system.
@ Alexis and Suzanne H. - I went to get a sample of the EL Maximum Coverage and was told by a couple of vendors that it looks really mask-like, dry and textured on the skin (as she does have textured skin) and also that it would not photograph well. I'll have her try the sample however. Thank you!

Chris, I've worn that foundation in flash photography and it photographs beautifully! Less is more with the Maximum Cover because it's so full coverage and it'll only look mask like and heavy if you apply too much of it.

Here it is on me. The left is unfiltered and unedited and the right is with professional flash photography.

On a slightly unrelated note, is your daughter aware of the serious risk of skin cancer she's subjecting herself to by abusing her skin in the sun so much? There are much better and healthier ways to get your skin glowing.

She should try the derma roller they sell them on amazon

@ Alexis - it definitely looks beautiful! Thanks!
@ Leuca - yes, of course, thank you!
@ Jocelyn - I'm not familiar with that - I'll check it out! Thank you!
