So, are you using a face primer now? If not, try Physicians Formula, it really seems to work for me. A suggestion: don't use anything Rimmel. They're cheap and easily slide off of your face. Use Physicians Formula if you can afford it, or something a bit less cheap, like Maybelline or something. Anymore questions, feel free to ask. :)

The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Pore Minimizing is my holy grail for pores! I have a particularly deep/large pore on my cheek that I jokingly call "the crater" and the Smashbox primer is the only primer I've ever used that fills in that pore and makes a noticeable difference. I highly recommend it!

My suggestion would be to find a pore filling primer. There's one from benefit called the porefessional that works really well. There's more from other brands too. Then you should really try and press it into your skin, and concentrate where your pores are the largest. You can also use certain powders to make your pores less visible. I know benefit makes one and so does too faced. You just have to find products that target your problems and find the ones that work best for you. Best of luck 🙂

I agree with Alexis. The Smashbox pore filler is AMAZING especially if you've got oily skin.

The Benefit porefessional is okay but more for normal skin, it didn't help control oil like the smashbox does

I agree with a lot of the ladies out here with changing your primer. Also, try using this https://www.beautylish.com/s/bioderma-sebium-pore-refiner before priming. I feel like all ladies have that pore issue. You're not alone! Lol
The best primer that works for me is Dr Brandt Pores No More primer from Sephora.
I apply that to my nose because omg my nose literally eats my makeup.
But, I apply it just on my problem areas. And with the rest of my face, I use Maybelline Baby Skin.
I like for my makeup to sit on primers vs my skin.

The best thing for me was investing in a more comprehensive skincare routine. I know that's not really a great short-term fix, but you'll need much less primer if your skin is behaving better and has an overall improved texture. You'll also be shoving less product into your pores, so it's a win/win.

I still have some residual pores just because they were quite stretched out by the time I really researched my skincare, but the BHA products from Paula's Choice are really quite good if your condition is something that can actually be improved with topically applied products. Actually, all of her products are amazing as far as I'm concerned; she should have her products on Beautylish.

These ladies likely have some great recommendations for primers, but my good short term fix is a powder, to be honest. I've been set on the NYX HD Photogenic Powder, which is a cheaper (and honestly better imo) dupe for the MUFE HD Powder. If your skin is ok with those silica based powders (and you aren't gonna be in flash photography i.e. general day use), it'll just glide over your skin and make it look a little more perfected. Might look a little "dry" if you apply generously like I do, for lack of a better term, but if you're oily like me that look will dissipate in less than an hour. Doesn't exacerbate your existing pore problems and doesn't force you to pile on more products. I'll generally apply it to my oily areas/cheeks to set sunscreen/foundation if I'm wearing it, then I'll brush over my face with the Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Powder (easy dupe for the Nars Crystal Powder Pressed) to dust off excess and make everything look uniform.
