I want to start exfoliating, but I don't know how... where do I start? I don't want to spend much so DIY ones would be best (if possible) thanks ladies!

It depends if you want a face exfoliator or a body, I make my own with around 4 table spoons of coconut oil, one teaspoon of olive oil and then add some sugar if you want one for your face, add salt if you want it for your body! The deeper you want to exfoliate your skin, the more sugar/ salt you add, but don't overdo it, make sure it's still oily but at the same time thick, it's also really good for your skin because coconut oil has lots of amazing skin properties!

And also, all the things to make this one are really cheap and coconut oil lass forever!!

Don't waste your money trying out recipes and buying overpriced crap. Just get washcloths with a skin-friendly texture and use those with a creamy body wash in the bath/shower. They're endlessly reusable and will give you the same results. What is more important to invest your money in is your skincare.

Rice powder is effective but gentle and very inexpensive. I will either use milk or water to create a paste and use it as an exfoliator. Rice powder is used I a lot of Asian cleansers and exfoliators (try go ogling it). This huge bag was less than 5 bucks and will probably last me 1 to 2 years.

Mine is made with aloe vera gel (I buy via amazon, uk) mixed with rice flour and I use my Monsia Sonic 3 facial cleansing brush set on normal only once a week as I live in a rural area.
