I like the idea , but since it is your first time you can get some blonde highlights or any other color you are thinking of just to see how it looks with you. You don't want to die your whole head one color then it look horrible! Highlights don't have to be nothing big, it could be one little piece of hair as a trial to see if you like the color on you. Hope this helps!
