Hey everyone,
This summer I decided to dye my naturally dark brown hair black with a blue tint. I have died it 3 times (every 5 weeks or so with permenant box dye). the last time I did was about a month ago.
I was hoping to go back to my natural dark brown but I'm not sure what to do. my roots are completely brown and the dye still fades a lot because of my strong eczema shampoo (I wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week), but its definitely black. can I put a medium/dark brown dye over it? is there a product that can be used to take the colour off or slowly fade it? or is it best to just leave it as it..
thank you!

Leave it for a few more weeks and try to wash your hair a little more frequently than you usually would, after that if you've noticed its faded to sort of a faded black/brown in places then you should be able to go in with a brown dye :)

Thanks ladies. ill keep using the shampoo and use it throughout the hair more rather than the roots only because it will definitely help fade the colour if I don't find colour oops. I know nothing about colouring hair so thanks so much.

I had the same problem and I just washed it with head and shoulders a lot. then I put an redbrown dye over it and after a week its darkbrown again with a reddish warm shine over it.
