Mirror Pigment On Gel Nails?

I'm really curious about the mirror powders & chrome powders that seem to be everywhere lately! I already have a gel nail set at home, (sensationail) but in some videos people have said that they use a non wipe top coat, something that isn't made by sensationail.
has anyone tried the powders or a variant of them with the sensationail at home gel kit?

I'm also curious to know I'd they work with regular Polish, & not just gels. I don't want to go buying any pigments and then it turns out that they can't be used!??

I've used them a whole lot. First and foremost, non-wipe top coats rarely, if ever, are really "non-wipe". I always use a gel nail cleanser/sanitizer because it will give you a nice shine and immediately remove and tackiness. When I've used pigments, its a must. I believe it has to be done with gel, but I've never used the sensational kit. However, I'm familiar with the lamp and from my own personal experience, I've had much better luck using a stronger lamp. Especially because the mirror pigment process requires a lot of coats, thus making the gel cleanser all the more necessary as well.

Ill have to try that blue sky brand! I've almost given up hope! thanks for the tip (no nail pun intended haha). what about a metallic mirror polish gel? the polish needs a different base coat than normal uv gel polishes... but its not expensive, maybe only 3 bucks and elite99 makes beautiful metallic polishes (has their own line of base and top coats for them as well). they're cheap enough to buy and try a few different shades out and the quality is amazing. I gave some to friends and they took them to a salon to get their nails done and the nail tech tried to buy the bottles from them because they got such good results.

My pleasure! If you need anymore help, let me know! I've had good results with a few different pigments that don't cost too much money. if you wanted to try it, just to see if you like it. I think its worth the few dollars you spend. You just have to wait for it in the mail for like 2-3 weeks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1g-box-Mirror-Powder-Gold-Silver-Pigment-Nail-Glitter-Nail-Art-Chrome-Decoration-/131858265313?var=&hash=item1eb35d74e1:m:mD0qLAienR57djo8ybqFjNA.

Also, just in case you might want to get some lint free wipes and gel cleanser...again, its just 2 bucks and I've had great success using this... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Elite99-Pro-Cleanser-Plus-Removes-Excess-Gel-Enhances-Shine-Sticky-Remover-60ml-/122022502022?hash=item1c691b9e86:g:AeoAAOSwc1FXaWpT.

Great, thank you susie! I was looking at maybe buying the ones from born pretty store. have you heard anything about them?

I love born pretty, but I think BP's stand out product is their stamping polish. I don't think there is much difference between pigments, you'll probably get it quicker though.

OK. thank you! I'm interested in buying one of the stamping mats & a clear stamper as well. I'm horrific at stamping, so hopefully it would make it easier.
