Getting lash extensions

So I'm finally getting lash extensions, but I'm stuck on what I want. My first choice is to "go big or go home" and get a very dramatic all volume set. I'm just afraid that it'll look like too much. I love big lashes but I don't want to look ridiculous. Anyone have experience with lash extensions? Should I start small or just go all in? Here is a comparison picture from the place I'm getting them done at!
