I think any color looks good. Lighter will make you look more tan and darker colors will make you look more pale in comparison. Personally my favorite for my skin are dark purples or blues, or light Greys and greens. But it's all personal preference :)

It's really about preference.
Some people like those vampy reds whereas others find they make them look washed out but some people like that contrast. I personally find it... Meh.
I think pastel shades look better/softer.
Like Kailey mentioned,a pure white can make you look like you have a little color in comparison and it won't have that strong contrast compared to like a black varnish

I just avoid yellow based colors because they make my skin look gross. I'm not sure if that's due to my pale skin or my cool undertone. I don't know how else to describe it but yellows or greens make my hands look sickly or something lol:)

I'm really pale with a neutral-yellow undertone and I love gold, yellow, white, dark blue, black, purple, red. Especially a fan of more autumnal colours and vampy colours.

Other than this, I tend to go for dark reds, black, and pastels. The only color I absolutely hate on my nails is sally hansen's miracle gel in terra-coppa. That pale of a color, in that sparkly color, really just made my hands look whiter

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely try those out! Since I'm quite fond of my pale complexion I might try out darker colours and those jewel tones you guys mentioned! I painted my nails a pastel mint the other night, and though it looked nice I wasn't keen on the contrast with my skin.

I have the world's palest skin, I have to use filters to keep from looking scary ill, and practically reflect sunlight outside, it looks like I glow, and I love deep crimson, and navy shades for my nails, I think it looks amazing in contrast!
