My white converse are dirty and I don't want to buy new ones since these are fairly new. any suggestions on how to get them back to how they were when I bought them?

I know this isnt the best suggestion lol but when I had white chucks I just threw them in the washer and let them air dry!

I did the same thing Liz! The washer completely cleaned them. I also heard a magic eraser works on the rubber part. Also baby wipes will work!

Washing machine! Baby wipes also are fab, I used to use a scourer with some bleach (like bathroom bleach) on it for the rubber bits

My sister puts them in the washer also, and let's them air dry. Since I hardly use mine only the rubber part gets dirty and I just use an old tooth brush with soapy water.

That's how I wash my shoes. Just wash all the shoes in there with no clothes. Make sure you I lace all the shoe lashes

Take off the laces and throw them to the washer with the shoes. Laces will look super clean too!

Do not use bleach. it will turn white shoes yellow, especially the rubbery soles. I use white toothpaste (not blue or green) and a soft toothbrush on my white tennis shoes. I thrift store shop for everything else but shoes are the one thing I spend good money on and I do everything I can to make sure they look as new as possible for as long as possible. I would never put my shoes in the washer because there is a good chance the seams will get ripped apart or they will come out misshapen or the inner soles will get damaged. especially if it's a top load washer. if you just want them free of dirt and don't care that they last for years or anything you can put them in a machine but at least put them in a pillowcase or throw them in with a couple towels so they aren't banging around as much. I leave balled up newspaper in my tennis shoes any time I'm not wearing them so they will keep their shape and the toes won't curl up, especially if they get wet.

I use BIZ bleach, it's color safe and will make them sparkling white! I soak them for about 30 mins to an hr first in the sink or a bucket, then pop them into the washer in a pillowcase as Aleena said and they should look brandy new again :)

I use bleach! I put a little bleach in the washing machine and then wShed them with the bleach inside and they looked brand new :)

Baby wipes work for the rubber part. For the shoe itself throw it in the dryer:)
