I was looking through John Frieda products and saw this. In a week I'm going blonde and was wondering if any of you have tried this and it actually gives your hair highlights. I don't really know how it would but I'm curious.

I used the sheer blonde shampoo and conditioner. I think the idea behind it is that it would strip your hair of brassiness and buildup to let your highlights really look their best. With the Sheer Blonde shampoo, I didn't notice a difference after using it, however my hair was really really soft and shiny. It may not bring your highlights to a perfect blonde shade like a violet shade would, but it will definitely make your hair feel very healthy :)

I agree with Hailey on the highlighting products now that she mentions it. Shouldn't be necessary if your already going blonde and the less chemicals you put in already chemically processed hair the better I'd think. Blonde hair is pretty fragile.
