I just dyed my hair with the Shwarzkopf keratin color in silky blonde and it did not come out at all what I wanted it to. I want BLONDE hair and it just made my hair a lighter version of my chestnut colored hair. How early can I bleach my hair without a huge amount of damage??

They usually say to wait at least two weeks before dying again.

Wait at least a week and in the meantime use some protein treatments to help strenghtn it up for when you bleach it

I know a lot of people on here color and bleach their own hair but I honestly recommend seeing a stylist when bleach is involved. Did you already have artificial color on your hair when you used the Shwarzkopf color over it? You are straddling a fine line of color correction at this point if so, so please at least make a consultation with a professional to figure out your next step :)

Here is how I have gone blonde in the past. Also keep in mind that I have Asian hair, so this should definitely work for you.
1. Buy a streaking kit could be Nordic ++ or loreal streaking kit or Clairol frost and tip kit
2. After streaking, your hair needs to recover so wait 2weeks to repeat and streak again.
3. In the mean time use blonde fudge clean blonde toner. Make sure you really rub it through your hair. I also used the toner as a hair mask and let it sit for a couple hours.
3. Put nice and easy ash blonde dye through hair. Keep repeating these steps until you like or think that your hair is blonde enough for your liking.
Also you have to keep in mind that being blonde takes a lot of patience and you will get there in the end. But if your anything like me by the time you are blonde you will just want to go back dark again haha!! Hope this helped.
