Hey y'all! So, I've always been a nail bitter, or if I'm not biting on them, I find myself picking at the tips of them. I've tried everything, and have recently decided upon sheer will power. It's been about a month, and I am seeing some growth with the use of cuticle oil, but they are still flaking, and are very easy to break or chip. I drink tons of water, and just don't know what else to do. Please help me, and thank you in advance. 😊

DO NOT use a nail strengthener!! They do far more harm than good!! Try nail oil instead. Bliss Kiss makes a good one, and they have it in pen form, too. stay away from acrylic nails and gel manicures, because those will peel away at the layers of your nails and weaken them. Don't use nail clippers, as those will weaken your nails. Don't buy into that nail buffing mess, either. Also, when/if you file them, move your file in one direction.
tl;dr: Don't use nail clippers, nail buffers, acrylic nails, fake nails, or gel manicures. These will all weaken your nails. DO use a good nail oil and a healthy dose of patience. You may also want to try something like biotin.
