Honestly, I think it's a beautiful placement! I'm going into cosmetology (starting next week actually!) and I'm planning on getting a small tattoo on my wrist. I feel like cosmetology or any other kind of job in the beauty industry is the most forgiving with tattoos. I've gotten my hair cut by girls who had beautiful tattoos on their arms. It's honestly up to you, since both placements will be nice. I would just keep in mind the placement for the future, such as how the skin will change over the years and sun exposure. I love owls and it'll be a gorgeous tattoo!

I think that's awesome placement on your arm! It's also a beautiful design. I'm not able to tell how much it'll interfere with your career but if you're afraid of that I think it'd also look stunning on the back of your shoulder or in the middle between your shoulder blades. :)

If you'd rather have it on your arm, I'd say definitely get it there. If it ever becomes a problem at work, you can always just wear something with long sleeves. I have worked in HR and we were on the executive floor so there was a formal dress code but there were so many people with tattoos on their arm but it was never an issue as they were covered up anyway or only slightly visible. people would literally be getting told off for wearing the wrong colour pants but never because of a tattoo, it really isn't that much of an issue as it sometimes seems I think. that's an awesome tattoo by the way :)

Yeah, the cosmetology side of the workplace is suuuuper lenient!! which is awesome..I know girls who work at salons, high-end salons..sephora, ulta etc..who are covered in tattoos..have colored hair..piercings :) I think the thigh would be beautiful, though, personally.
