Hi everyone! I know there's plenty of prom related questions asked here, but I've just got my dress in the mail and wanted to share! Also, I immediately fell in love with the dress, but I'm not sure how I plan to style it and would love some advice.

I know it's not the best pic, but the dress is navy with champagne/gold beading. Do you have any styling suggestions? Shoes, makeup, hair; the works! I want to start experimenting with looks now so that I don't have to feel stressed on Prom night, as I'll probably be doing my own hair and makeup.

Also, don't mind the rose - it's left over from Valentines Day and I was having a bit of fun :)

I think a low bun would look super cute, with some strands of hair left out to frame the face.

Or half up half down:) here's a few for inspiration. I would check out makeupwearables hairstyles on youtube for some awesome tutorials.

My picture was the same one that R.T. posted. the half up curled one with all those hair jewels on it.

The dress I wore to my sisters wedding had similar colors! I think you should go the beautiful look Miss Sarah showed you with nudes, or you could go with a dark smokey eye. I replicated this look when I was wearing those colors and did a nude lip.

Thank you everyone! I love the idea of a low bun if my hair will cooperate, and I'll definitely be trying out some of the eye looks :)

Your dress has a very regal vibe about it with its ornate gold motif. And usually I prefer hair thats down or half-up, half-down. But I actually think an updo would compliment this dress better, to keep the attention on the beautiful design. But nothing too stuffy, or old looking. Something young and and not too serious.

With makeup, I like the look of this neutral eye with the specialness of the shimmer and the subtle sophisticated navy in the waterline. Again, beautiful, complimenting the dress without taking all the attention away from it.

That dress is beautiful and looks amazing on you! I would get shoes to match the beading, doing a curled updo, I would personally go for dramatic eye makeup. Maybe something darker
