I picked up the Tarte Amazonian clay foundation yesterday and now I don't know if I like it. Has anyone used it before and not liked it and if you did what did you switch to?

I tried it once when it first came out and found it a bit thick. I returned it.

I tried it out, didn't like it, and went back to Estée Lauder Double Wear.

I'm planning on returning it. I just put it on and it looks horrible on my skin. I'm either going to try out Estée Lauder double wear or Kat Von D lock it foundation.

I used the Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation for awhile as well, tried the Tarte one, and am now using Double Wear. I would suggest getting samples first before purchasing (:

Definitely get samples! I would personally go for the Double Wear (if I had combo skin); if your skin is very oily then KVD might be a better option...

I love it so much. it is a bit thick but I love full coverage. I always blend it out with a wet sponge to make it look more natural.

I personally hated the tarte and the Kat von d. I like the double wear but definitely get samples first!

Meh. Ulta was out of my shade and a girl at the counter color matched me and talked me into buying the lightest shade. When I got home I realized it was too light for me and I should've just waited until the color I chose was in stock. I like the coverage, but it sinks into fine lines and pores and I'm also reasonably sure that it breaks me out. I stopped using it and started using Make Up For Ever Ultra HD.
