Should I Go Purple? If So, How?

Hello girls and guys cx my hair is red since before halloween sometime and I love it but I've always wanted to go light purple. problem is, I don't know if I'd suit it and I've only ever bleached my ends before. first question, should I do it? second question, what's the best way to bleach with as little damage? second and a half, should I use the vitamin c trick before bleaching to get the red out?

I would do the vitamin c method and use dish soap as well to get as much color as possible. Bleaching large molecular "fashion" colors can sometimes cause it to stain, making it impossible to get out. So make sure you fade it as much as possible before bleaching. I would also go to a professional that deals with fashion colors. One of the best ways to remove red is to fade it as much as possible and try to tone it with a green toner to cancel out the red and bleach that, in sessions after toning if necessary. If they don't know what they are doing it'll be extra damaging since they aren't usually taught much about them in schools.
