Do you think anyone can pull off a subtle cat eye liner or do you have to have a specific eye shape?? I've seen a bunch of tutorial online... Anyone have any easy tips??

Practice makes perfect! just try it and, play with it, you will find what works for your eye shape! I love a great cat eye and I have hooded lid so if I can pull it off, I think anyone could!!

Well I hear that if you already have wide set eyes you should avoid the cat eye because it will make them look even more spaced out. And the eyevshape does determine what type of look works best. That's why certain looks are better on some than others even when using the same technique. When I was still in highschool I really liked expirementing with makeup and now that experience pretty much helped me determine what types of looks were great on me or not depending on the feedback I got.

I think anyone could.

It has more to do with your own preference.

There aren't really rules to makeup, just guides.

I think the common cat/winged liner was use more for those with down-turned eyes to help make them look more lifted.
But it really looks good on anyone

All depends on the person. See me, I can't pull off a subtle cat eye. Mine are always big. It makes my eyes look huge though, mine are close together & I have hooded, somewhat down-turned eyes for the most part, and the big wings I make really helps lift them...I get a lot of compliments. Spend a day practicing & playing around, see what works best for you!

All shapes can pull it off, but practice makes perfect.

It's really how the end product looks if it fits for your eye. I know for myself, I always start my cat eye from the end of my eye and create the wing first before finishing the line to the inner corner. I know some people like to start in the inner corner and work their way out but I always find the wing looks off and sometimes the liner can be too thick! Hope this helps :)

Anyone can pull off a cat eye, you just need to find out what angle works best on your eyes!
