I've been using cetaphil cleanser for a while now but I just don't feel like my face is clean after cleansing. I have combination sensitive skin so I don't want anything too harsh but I'm looking for something that will make my face feel clean. Any recommendations?

Maybe using a scrub or exfoliating with a brush after you wash your face.
Try to use warm water to open the pores while you wash your face and finish with cold water to close the pores.

I have dry, sensitive skin and I prefer to double cleanse by using either a cleansing balm or a cleansing oil to remove make up/sunscreen and then following in with my cleanser of choice. I've been religiously using Clinique's cleansing balm (you rub this on your face like a moisturizer, it has an oily consistency so it breaks down make up however it washes off in a milk form so you do not get an oily residue.) followed with a cleanser based on my skins condition that day.
You can also use coconut oil (or any oil of your choice) but they will leave behind an oily residue which is hard to remove and gets into your eyes.
I also recommend purchasing a gentle face brush or a muslin cloth as well to help cleanse and give mild exfoliation. You don't have to purchase something like the clarisonic or the foreo luna until you feel ready too. Any cleansing tool you use at the moment will be better than using just your hands.

I found that getting my foreo luna really helped in the more psychological feeling of clean skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate it at all but it feels like I'm doing more to clean it and so it feels cleaner.

I am a new user of clarisonic using radiance brush. Very gentle! Every time I use it, it just makes my face feel so clean. I don't use it everyday though. I have combo skin and I use a hydrating cleanser like the cetaphil cleanser. It's not supposed to give you a squeaky clean feel, it cleans without stripping the natural oils on your face. I always follow with an alcohol free toner afterwards (thayers witch hazel) to make sure remaining makeup/dirt is off before I apply my moisturizer. That extra step after cleansing might be what you need :)

When I used that cleanser it made my face feel overly clean for some reason. I guess it really depends on your skin type but maybe try using it with a washcloth or a loofah face pad.

Thanks for all the responses! I've been considering buying a clarisonic or a foreo Luna for a while now but I was worried my skin might be too sensitive. Does anyone know if Sephora has the same return policy for cleansing tools ad they do for their other products? Anyways, I'll definitely try double cleansing and using something to gently exfoliate in the meantime though. Thank you for the help everyone!

I have that one currently and I say it drys out my face since my face is oily. And I recommend that you use products from Orgins.

Thanks for the recommendation Elicia, are there any products in particular that you love? I have a couple of there masks but haven't tried much else.

I only bought the luna about 2 weeks ago, during the sale, but the rep told me I can return it within 90 days

That's good to know Alyx, thanks! I might just bite the bullet and try it out then.

For sensitive skin I truly recommend the Luna. I use mine twice daily and I have been for three years now. Since I have sensitive skin I'm not a fan of Origins since they tend to use a lot of natural fragrance and irritants. The first aide beauty milk cleanser is actually a nice option if you want one from Sephora along with their lotion (not the cream which is fragranced as well.)

I think I'll get the Luna tomorrow, it's getting more appealing by the second lol. I'll check out the cleanser as well, thanks Kitty :)

Well I use the GinZing it's in an orange bottle but you don't always have to use name brand. Over the counter works just as well. That's what dermatologists have been saying.
