So I'm starting cos school next week, and I just learned of the dress code, which happens to exclude the only articles of clothing I own – jeans and graphic tees.
I'm brand new to this, and feel awkward in anything besides jeans and leggings. Does anyone have any tips for me? On how to shop or how to wear all this new stuff? I'm short too, about 5'1, but on the curvy/thick side. Thanks in advance! 💚

If you feel most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, bump it up a notch with a nice pair of trousers and a short sleeved shirt, depending on what weather the place you live in is you can put a sweater over it. You could also wear tees that are not graphic, or a tank top and a cardigan.
I'd keep it simple since it is a school you're going to. Here in Italy it's rare to see girls wearing skirts to school- don't ask me why... It's not that it's not allowed, it's just not typical.
I'll describe something that I would wear when I go teaching, just as an example.
Three-quarter sleeve black tight top with a semi-high neck, a tweed jacket and a pair of khaki-colored chinos, paired with some soft black leather laced flats.
I know it sounds very "teachery" but you can just mix it up depending on what you own.

Well with spring/summer starting for most of us it's a perfect time to start wearing casual dresses. They can be super comfortable and so easy.
As for shoes it's a great time to start wearing wedge heels. You get height with all day comfort
