I get those too from ingrown hairs. I exfoliate every time I'm in the shower and use Ambi. I also added TendSkin to my regimen.

Have you seen a difference??

Definitely a difference but they're not gone. I'm guessing laser would be better because otherwise the hair is continuously growing back which just defeats the purpose because here come the spots again.
I've also read some bad reviews with laser hair removal and darker skin with dark hairs. So I guess just do your research :)

I think you might be getting chemical burns from nair. I have had bad reactions like that with nair. I do recommend laser hair removal if you are willing to spend a lot of money. I just started getting laser hair removal (Brazilian) and I have gotten great results. I have tan skin with thick black hair. It does help to go to a proper laser hair removal place because I have gone to one before where it was terrible. The one I go to now is amazing. A nurse practitioner makes sure that you are ok for it so that you don't get burned like in the horror stories.

Well I've had them before I even started using Nair. I think I'm going to try the laser

Then I think it's just irritation from shaving. Since you are willing to try laser, look for some groupons to save money on your laser procedure.

I recently tired laser hair removal (courtesy of groupon) for my bikini line. Best choice I made ever. I still have to go back for my other treatments but the initial results has me in awe. I did have some crusting (scabs) in a few spots for a few days but they healed. I can't wait to go back.

Oh the feeling. It feels like your constantly getting hit with a rubber band.

Amber- Did they apply a local anesthetic or anything? And how long did it take?

I found a place near me (through Groupon) who can do a full Brazilian which is exactly what I want and it's nine sessions for not much. The numbing cream was something I forgot to ask about when I went to visit the place.
