I'm looking for a new foundation (aren't we all) and I have decently oily skin and lots of acne scarring. I've heard a lot of really good things about Estée Lauder Double Wear and Makeup For Ever HD foundation. I've sampled the Mufe one and I really liked it, but I did find that it could get a little texturey and separate a little around my nose. It also transfers a little more than I was hoping. I've never used Double Wear but everyone seems to love it. Right now I use TF born this way even though it's better for dry skin because I really love too faced and the coverage. However, I hate how bad it transfers. I use setting spray galore, and bake with Laura Mercier translucent powder every day. I've also tried 10 different primers with it. On my hunt for my holy grail foundation I've tried Kat Von D, Lancôme 24 hour, and Becca Ultimate Coverage creme. I think I'm down to Mufe and double wear now. What are your experiences with them? I'm open to other suggestions as well!

Double Wear 🙌🏽 the coverage is amazing. And it never transfers when I wear it. I usually never use a setting powder either.

I've never tried Double Wear but I love my MUFE Ultra HD. I don't believe they make the regular HD anymore, so if you've tried that one, you should try the Ultra version now: they have it in liquid and stick. I have the liquid one and every time I wear it I get compliments on how good my *skin* looks, not my makeup. A lot of people can't tell I'm wearing makeup.
That said, the smartest decision you can make is get samples of all these products and try them out for a while before buying. Whichever makes you happier, buy that one. After all, foundation is a fairly pricy item and if it breaks you out or oxidizes in away that you don't like, you should definitely know before you buy it.
