I am giving up all of my animal tested beauty products and am searching for good/nice cruelty free beauty (hair, makeup, skin care, nails, etc.) products. 🐰💕

Good for you girl! As far as makeup goes my favorite brand is Too Faced because they not only have amazing and adorable products, but they're completely cruelty free. Most cruelty free brands are still owned by a parent company like Estée Lauder or Loreal. In fact, Estée Lauder tried to buy Too Faced not too long ago, but they said no, even though they'd be making more money! Other good that isn't owned by anyone or who have cruelty free parent companies are It Cosmetics, Physicians Formula, Anastasia, and Essence. I believe Becca and Laura Geller are like that as well but I'm not certain. I know Becca is completely cruelty free, but they have brushes that are made with natural hair. There's a lot of grey space in cruelty free products, so it just depends how far you want to go and if you're okay with buying from a brand whose parent company isn't cruelty free. Nyx, Urban Decay (honestly no idea what their stance is anymore, they go back and forth too much), and Tarte (owned by a Japanese company) are all owned by a non cruelty free parent company. Some brands to stay away with for sure are Mac (used to be cruelty free, but now sell in China), Estée Lauder (obviously), Benefit, Bare Minerals, Smashbox, Lancôme, Stilla, Loreal, Maybelline, Rimmel, Revlon, Almay, and Cover Girl. I'm not as knowledgeable about hair, but I know that Pacifica just launched some hair products, and they're completely cruelty free and vegan. Mario Bedascu (I almost always spell it wrong, sorry) and Juice Beauty are a couple of really good cruelty free skincare lines. If there's a brand you have a question about feel free to ask me! Hope this helped!

Some of my favorite animal-free testing brands are:
Cover FX (Their Custom Color Drops are astounding)
Embryolisse (Laite-Creme Concentrate is a killer oil-based primer)
Alpha Hydrox (Affordable, high quality Glycolic skin care)
NYX (liners and lipcolor and HD Powder)
IT Cosmetics (their brushes and CC cream are gorgeous)
Tarte (Killer blushes & mascaras)
Too Faced
CeraVe (my favorite skin care) *has some animal by-products
Some products have animal-by products, so if you are vegan, you'll want to defer to a list that keeps things simple. This is a helpful tool if you are on the hunt for something and want to know if a product's parent company tests, if they use suppliers that test, if they contain animal by-products, etc.

Okay so I totally lied about Smashbox being not cruelty free. I work at Ulta and I was actually talking to a couple Smashbox reps and they are cruelty free. However, they're owned by Estée Lauder of course
