I've had this for already a long time. I don't know exactly how long. I feel no pain, but it's there. Do you guys know what can this be?

It's likely that it's from the way you write - the pen rubs against your finger and hardens the skin.

I have something just like that on my right hand! I asked my doctor about it once and he said something similar to what miss Katie said! When writing, I'm used to placing my pen against it, I don't recall the exact reason as to why this happens though/:

Agree with Katie and Paola.Same here doc said it's the way I hold a pencil but it will go down after a while. That's why we have those pen, pencil grip cushions to help. :)

It's essentially a callus. It's a build up of skin to make it stronger to prevent it from being sore while holding something to it, like a pencil, or if it's on your finger pads it could be from guitar.

Since I do a lot of art I have a very large pad on the sides of 2 fingers, and it goes away once you stop using it as much.
