Vaseline alone won't do much to anything. I suggest buying a lip scrub that really help get rid of the dead cracked skin

I use vasoline on mine and it works fine, but lush sells a really nice lip scrub if you prefer to use that first.

Don't put on lipstick for a week🚫💄😬. Instead,
Brush your lips to exfoliate them and then put on Vaseline. Be very religious about it. It worked for me. 💋

You could try DIYing a lipscrub (or just use a toothbrush)
Vaseline with coconut oil is amazing, it worked so well for me since my lips are supposed to be cracked because of the acne medication I'm using, when I went to see my derm he was like wooah your lips are perfect.. haha.

Also try to not use any matte things on your lips too

Use a lipscrub then dampen your lips with water
After that use a toothbrush on your lips and coat it with Vaseline
Do all this before you go to bed for two nights in a row
It should be fine,...
