Should a makeup artist have more than one portfolio?

If your applying to work for an agency, should you have extra copies of your portfolio or just give them the original one? Do they keep them?

Also are there artists out there who charge over $100/hr if they're doing shows or on set? Would that be ok or too much?

As far as I know physical portfolios are returned. That being said, I'd still keep more than one copy to be on the safe side.
