Leggings are leggings but if they are black and shear or really any color boy shorts the same color work perfect or thong the same color. So you don't have to try and hide your bum!

Depends. Black ones can be pants if worn with a longer shirt or tunic and high boots. But coloured leggings should be worn with a dress or top that covers your butt. Obviously that's just my opinion but that's what I've found to look best.

Personally I think leggings qualify as pants, only if you wear a longer shirt or sweater that covers your butt. It drives me crazy when girls wear them like jeans. Most people don't want to see your butt girls..It just looks trashy.

noo plz cover ur bum! I have seen so many girls wear them and they are completely see through from the back. unless your super skinny with no curves you can't get away with it. Be classy and wear a tunic top or oversized sweater with them.

To each their own but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing leggings in public without something covering my butt and other bits. At home is different, but if I'm going out something goes over them to cover. Just how I am. I'm not ashamed of my body but I don't like feeling exposed so it would feel weird for me. I even have a tendency to pull my shirts down over my butt a bit. Just one of those weird things I guess lol

My school is actually banning girls from wearing leggings/tights lol I honestly don't mind as long as your butt is covered; they're meant to be worn under things, not as pants, in my opinion

Look, wear what you want. But know that if you're walking around in leggings and a top that hits at your hips (aka doesn't cover your butt and crotch), people are probably gonna judge you. Whether that's right or wrong, that's the way it is. I say, wear leggings all you want, because they are damn comfy, but wear a shirt or sweater long enough to cover your butt and crotch. For me, covering the crotch is more important than covering the butt, truthfully nobody wants to see anybody else's camel toe.

I consider leggins as pants because I find them more comfortable . If you don't have somethin comfortable to wear then they aren't the rite pants sounds weird but that's how I feel

leggings are leggings. People who try to use them as pants dont do a mirror check when they bend over....yikes! you either see cellulite dimples peek through, underware lines peak through, or the famous see through at the butt crack line. my advice, play it safe and cover the butt.
