Awww....your gap is pretty! I have one too and when I was younger I absolutely hated it. My mom said just wait till I'm a little older to make the decision on whether to get braces or not. By the time I hit 18 years old it was not an issue anymore because of the many positive compliments I received. When I went overseas (namely Africa and Italy) I received more compliments on my gap than I did anything else. Your gap just fits you....so beautiful. :)

Unless you have received all of ur teeth, and have lost all of them, I wouldn't worry about it because it my just close in by itself . It depends on your mouth.

I think your gap is cute! I used to be suuuper gap toothed and like Payton said, you might just grow out of it. I can relate to how you feel because I used to HATE my freckles, but eventually I realized that they're part of who I am and I shouldn't try to hide them or change. Just wait and see if your teeth either shift a bit, or if you grow to love your little quirk. You seem a bit young for braces, so just give it some time.

Your gap can close up as you get older. My sis has always had a gap and now that she's 18 it's barely noticeable.

I use to have a ton of gaps.. People also said they gave me personality.... But I was super self conscious about it so I got braces and it made all the difference...

Either way u would look fine. But it will take a while for UR braces to straighten UR teeth. But honestly UR gap makes u look unique and I'm a lil bit jealous lol

You are beautiful, and a little gap won't change that! But when you don't like your teeth, you won't smile, and you'll lack confidence. I have braces now and have so much more confidence now! It's all up to you, but if it will help your confidence, go for it! You will be glad you did! :)

I have a gap like yours and I found that most people dont really notice it. Most people think its cute :) also I found that as I got older it closed a bit and looks smaller now. So dont worry! Its not that bad sweetheart :)

Hey I have a gap and I got it from my maternal grandmother and I loved her very much, so when I look in the mirror and at my grandchildren I'm reminded of her. Love what God has given you and don't let anyone tell you anything else, just take care of your teeth and smile often, it's contagious!

I'd love to have a gap. You can tell you're young because you still have the little bumps on the bottom of you're teeth. Once your wisdom teeth start coming it it may close it a bit.

My 6 yr old son has a gap and I have always thought gaps were cool. Some people have no gaps but their teeth are still yellow and unsightly. Your teeth are perfect from what I can see.
