I agree with your friends, it is a nice gap, and it probably looks great on you, but it's up to you to make the decision of getting the braces or not, because it's your teeth. You have to live with your teeth, not them. If you don't like what you see when you look in the mirror at them, then get braces.

i also have a gap and i luv it now.. wanted to close it when i was younger but so glad i didnt.. its makes u unique and alot of models have a gap that they show off.

I had a gap and it made me super self conscious. I never would smile big because I was so aware of it. The day I got my braces, I smiled for the first time with confidence, I love having perfect teeth. You have to do what you feel is right!
