They don't come with a million bushes and aren't natural hair but Real Techniques has very nice brushes. They usually come in kits of 4 or 5 at $17 a piece. Or you can buy most of them individually from about $5 to $10. I just got their core collection set of face brushes and I'm loving them. I'm planning to get more.
For eye brushes at the moment I have a set from Bh cosmetics. They're good but I'm switching to real techniques when I have the money for another set. The Bh face brushes I had were good for a while and then started shedding like crazy. That's what made me get the real techniques ones. I'd definitely check them out. They're very easy to store though, each come with their own case that can be turned into a display stand.

This is hard! I honestly think that there is little to no difference between most makeup brushes I have personally tried from different companies. Based on EVERYTHING you requested, and despite my love for Sigma brushes, I would recommend looking at Bdellium, they make some of my favorite brushes. The bristles on the brushes are coated with a layer of something they refer to as "anti-bacterial technology," ( It does fade away with time, but it's still nice to know it's there = P, they clean really well, don't shed very much, and are very dense. They sell sets, or you can buy individual brushes. I believe they are based out of California.
I own this set because I don't really need more brushes: http://bdelliumtools.com/item.php?cat=studio&type=set&item=501
But, I think you may be more interested in something like this: http://bdelliumtools.com/item.php?cat=studio&type=set&item=999
Hope that helped!
