How to create cat eyes?

I love cat eyes but I don't understand how to create the look with liquid eye liner. Any tips?

Start by lining along your lash line, don't go out just yet. Then going from the way your lower waterline is, make a line going at whatever angle you like. Draw a triangle ish shape connecting the two lines , then fill it in and set with a powder once dry.

This probably makes more sense. And I suggest using a liquid liner with a more firm applicator brush\sponge. Harder to use the more flimsy ones.
