@jodie b. if you had your tongue pierced for over a year, your piercer should be able to taper your jewelry back in for you without repiercing.
Tongue piercings only "rot" your teeth if you are clicking it against your teeth or your jewelry is not the correct size.
Belly button takes up to 6 months to fully heal and can be easily irritated.
If you want an easy healing piercing go with the tongue. Initial healing is 2 weeks, then you switch to a smaller barbell.
Btw I'm a trained piercer, not some jamoke.

Thanks Hilary I've had it out for few years now, so they would have to re pierce it, just wasn't sure if it would hurt more having it done again? There's so many piercings I want!! 😜

ive had my tongue web piecered for 3 years
the piecering i ever did
super duper easy to manage !
dosent bump.into the teeth and gums
and so easy to clean
a little hard to chnage
but ur better of to go to the piecer and get it changed :D
