belly button doesnt always heal properly and i have had mine piereced 3 times an no luck. Tongue is nice its easy to look after and looks great too!

All of these are lovely piercings! In addition to many others, i have a navel piercing, 2 tongue piercings, and a HCH piercing. Of these, my favorites are the tongue piercings! Maybe considering what's important to you about the piercing would make this easier?
For your consideration:
Healing time:
Tongue piercings are relatively quick healers, but the healing process can be intense... a swollen tongue means difficulty eating and, yes, mine gave me a slight lisp for a week after it was pierced.
Clit hood piercings (whether vertical or horizontal) tend to be very, very fast healers, but definitely no sexual contact until it's fully healed!
Navel piercings are very slow healers... expect to be giving sea-salt soaks for months!
Visibility:
Tongue piercings are easy to show off, no removal of clothing necessary! If you need to hide it, this is easily done with the right jewelry.
Navel piercings are a little more tricky to show off, unless you're in a bathing suit...
VCH piercings don't tend to see the light of day much... so if you want to show it off, you might consider a different choice!

Tongue piercing infection is serious, the barbells chip your teeth, it gives you a speech impediment. No to tongue!
