I was curious to know what has helped with others acne and what has helped them get it under control? I'm still trying to find something that we help with mine!

Try proactiv's refining mask! it has sulfur in it so it can be a bit stinky lol but if I have a mild break out the night before an event or something I use that and it dries out the blemishes but not my skin!

if you have bad acne try the complete proactiv system. it's pricey but worked for me. I used it once and thought it didn't work but I also wasn't using it correctly.

Clinique Acne Solutions. they have a similar step system to Proactiv but use mostly salicylic acid instead of benzoyl peroxide. It works wonders for me and that line from clinique even has an acne treatment foundation!

I've tried la Roche posay and proactive and cetaphil. None worked. Proactive got my skin hooked. Idk. :(

Now what I've been doing to keep my skin hydrated and healthy is:

Washing with regular dove soap twice a day. After night wash, I put on yes to carrots nourishing night cream...
In the morning after I wash my face, then put l'occitane SPF day cream followed by make up.

I realized that once I started taking good care of my skin and drinking lots of water, the acne decreased!

Coconut oil to cleanse. Using the oil cleanse method has helped so many of my acneic clients. Also lots of steam and extraction. Avoid lots of physical exfoliation. This will only aggravate the oil production.

The best way to help your skin is from the inside out! Eat heathy! And do yourself a favor, stop eating dairy! It causes acne! Greasy foods don't, dairy does!

I've tried proactive, noxema, cetiphil, neutrogena, Clinique, and a dermatologist. None of it worked.

What finally got my skin under control was birth control and Mario badescu. I love all of his products and they do exactly what they say they'll do.

I use Retin A. U have to have a prescription for it, but it is the only thing that has ever really worked for me. A major bonus is with insurance it's on the $20.00 range and it also helps with fine lines and wrinkles.
