I've seen a lot of different techniques people use to clean their makeup brushes. For me, I clean them with alcohol (yes, alcohol!) then condition them. How do you clean your brushes? ❤ Feel free to leave them below (:

I wet them with lukewarm water and pour some baby soap in my hand and swirl them around and wash it out until the makeup is all out! (the water will run clear) in between washes, I like the Sonia kashuk brush cleanser. I also dry my brushes at an angle facing down so that excess water does not get into the brush and losen the bristles! good luck!

I use sephora brush shampoo in the palm of my hand and run the brush under water... Then swish the brush in my hand...rinse clean...squeeze the excess water out and follow up with antibacterial brush spray
What do you use to condition your brushes?

This might sound odd, but a mixture of liquid soap and a bit of olive oil works great.

I like to use Philosophy purity and very warm water. It gets the makeup off even if its been a while. I've also used baby wash/shampoo but the purity is the best.

I get the brush damp, and massage it into some Dr. Bronner's Castile soap in the palm in my hand. It gets everything out, and makes them feel really soft after they've dried!
I use to use Baby Shampoo before I discovered castile soap, and it worked great alone. I only used olive oil to loosen up super thick layers of foundation or concealer, because even with a harsh cleanser it takes sooo long to wash all that crap out.

I second Cameron on the Dr. Bronner's. Total game changer.
