I'm a huge Clinique fan but have heard so much hype about MAC. I know they are both owned by the same company but would love to possibly try MAC but would like to know the differences and pros and cons. Thank you for your feed back!

Mac has more color.choice but honesly, Clinique is better. Hypoallergenic, almost every product works for me and the ladies who work at counters are much nicer than Maccies.

Mac is best for eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner but clinique is better for skin stuff! Primer foundation concealer blush because like olivia said its all hypoallergenic and Ive only heard bad stuff about mac foundation. Theyre lip things are pretty equal.

Thats funny cause i'm nit a fan if Clinique make-up.. Except the liquid concealers! I'm in love with them :) Clinique skin care is amazing though, i swear by it!! :) Mac lipsticks are awesome!

The only face product from MAC that I own is a Skinfinish Natural. It is very good for light coverage but also good for setting makeup. I really recommend it. But like everybody else said MAC is really good for eyeshadows, lipsticks, lip glosses, and liners.

i do not like clinique makeup at ALL. i think the shadows are poorly pigmented and lipglosses are sticky.

for skin care- Clinique. for actual pigmented make up- Mac. there are so many different counters though so don't feel you have to be loyal. you could get foundation from Mac, powder from Clinique, lipstick from Armani and skincare from Clarins. it depends what your skin likes :)

I like cliniques foundation better. I like macs eyeshadows an lipsticks better.
But cliniques mascaras are by far better than macs.

I used to use Clinique for almost everything. I personally can't handle anything by MAC except for their Fix+ and Mineralized Skin Finish Natural. Even my strobe cream just broke me out recently. = (

Definitely Clinique for my Foundations but MAC for my lipsticks & eye shadows I've just recently fell in love w/ the BENEFITS LINE especially their PRIMERS!!!!

I'm a big fan of Mac shadows. They blend effortlessly and the color payoff is absolutely amazing. I haven't found the same using Clinique products. Mac lipsticks are really good too so are their mascaras. Plus you can bring your empties back and for every six MTs you can get a free lipstick eyeshadow or lipgloss which is super cool.
