I've been hearing rumors that this foundation has been discontinued, and a lot of people on Sephora.com are complaining that they are taking forever to restock which leads me to believe that these rumors might be true. Does anyone have any reliable info on the subject?

I actually went to Sephora yesterday to try to get a match but most of the shades were sold out... hm.
Well, this says it's not being discontinued.

Kat Von D 's line is really popular because it just provides ultimate coverage, so it's always selling out, personally I don't like it lol but do what works for you!

I love this foundation!! It is def full coverage- but I have horrible hyperpignentation and NEED full coverage. Funny thing is my skin is acne prone, and since I've been wearing it, I haven't had any new breakouts. So everyone's skin is different.

I have oily, acne prone skin and I really like this foundation. It will hide anything, but it is a bit heavy. My acne has improved ever since I switched to this.

Per Sephora, it should be re-stocked in February. In Canada though, I saw so many of every shade in my local Sephora.

Yeah Sephora will make you a sample. It's around 40 CDN, maybe slightly less.

I signed up for an alert to when my shade would be in stock again. I got an email and I wasn't able to go and try to order it until an hour later and it was already sold out again. So I signed up again for an alert as I luckily was on my phone and was able to order as soon as I got the email. So I'm waiting for my backup!!

I just had to Deedi!!! But I was reading through Kat Von D's chat on the sephora website. It was kind of hard to follow the chat but someone asked if the foundation would be discontinued and way later in the chat I saw her respond that no it wouldn't. I'm guessing that was the question she was referring to..
