You can get coconut oil at a health food store, also tone down the redness with a bit of green concealer on your red areas of you face before the rest of your makeup. MUFE has one in one of their concealer palettes. Good Luck!!

If you put an anti inflammatory like aleve or ibuprofen in an empty an clean spray bottle (shake it to make it dissolve) u can use it to spray on for redness and inflammation. My mom sprays it onto a fan brush because she has sensitive eyes. Really works! Learned it from gossmakeupartist on YouTube, you should check him out

Yes I usually used bottled water because supposedly tap has some traces of chlorine which doesn't help the flaking

This might sound a bit random , but I've suffered from red flare ups over my face, and after researching found that fluoride in toothpaste can cause these similar skin relations. I thought it was nonsense since I've used toothpaste all my life, but changed to a non fluoride toothpaste, and in a few days the redness had reduced. It's still not completely gone but defiantly better. Could be non related but I haven't risked changing back!

At a local drug store like CVS, you can buy Cortisone! It works SO WELL for absolutely anything! I used it for my dermatitis on my lips/face, on my blistered sun burns, acne, anything! It really will help! Try it!
