Does coconut oil help hair grow faster?

No ma'am.. it helps lock moisture in your hair to keep it healthy. Nothing will help your hair grow faster. All you can do is care for your hair and be patient. There's no magic products or oils that can grow hair.

There's no miracle product or technique to make hair grow faster as hair growth is based on genetics, however there are things you can do to help promote hair growth.
-use sulphate free shampoos
-use a hair mask at least once a week
-never brush hair when wet
-use as little heat as possible
-use a heat protectant when you do use heat
-get regular trims
-make sure your ponytails/buns aren't too tight
-drink plenty of water and keep yourself healthy as well
Please do NOT take any kinds of pills, including Biotin, Hairfinity, or any other hair, skin, and nail pills, unless you consult a doctor first. Taking supplements without a deficiency can cause serious health problems.

No, but if you leave it in over night it will make your hair shiny & soft.

In general you should just take care of your hair avoid heat at all costs. We often think our hair is growing slowly when it is actually breaking, so if you keep those ends healthy you will perceive it as if your hair was growing faster.

I would disagree with the majority :) I use sulsena paste for my hair. It is used if you have dandruff because it contains selenium, but it also stimulates and supports hair growth. My moms stepdad started to use it when he was balding and all his hair grew back. It's an old product back from Soviet Union. Just google Sulsena Paste or here is the link to Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/SULSENA-Paste-Hair-Mask-ANTI-DANDRUFF/dp/B00M347KKO.

However, I used coconut oil on my hair and scalp but it was very drying for me. It dried my skin and I didn't see any benefits on my hair. I use argan oil instead. I buy it from an Middle Eastern store, I think it is a good grade argan oil. And it works wonders for me! + Selenium paste ❤️
