Has anyone used the dollar shave club to get razors? What is their quality?

My sisters husband did and he said they were cheap dollar store razors.

Do you know which ones he got?

They were blue plastic, I think he got like 4 or 6?

There are different levels. The top level ones are great but they're more than a dollar. It's worth the extra couple bucks and still way cheaper than Gillette or Schick.

The dollar ones are only one blade so yeah...they won't be very effective.

They didn't have just one blade, I don't know how many exactly but it was more than one

The dollar ones are two-bladed razors...those ones are obviously meh. They have 4 packs 4-blade razors for $6/month and 6-blade razors for $9/month. I use the 4-blade razors and they work quite nicely. The handle is nice, not cheap plastic junk. They get the job done well and I'll definitely take those rather than spending $15 or $20 on a 4-pack of Gillette blades. It's a good deal. Plus I love their shave butter. It moisturizes your skin very nicely and prevents ingrown hairs and irritation, better than any store bought shave cream could.

Bailey how much is shipping? And would it be worth the shipping to Canada? I saw on a blog post the link for dollar shave club (along with two others) but I didn't click the links to see and have since lost that post..

Raylene, it does ship to Canada. I don't have it, but plan to when I have a steady job. It's not too expensive, cheaper than buying razors that's for sure. But the YouTube/news website Sourcefed is sponsored by it, and the whole cast recommends it even on their personal websites. They aren't luxury razors but they're better than the ones in the packs at Walmart or shoppers. :)

Alyx I use the Venus sensitive, are they better than those?

I have no idea, and honestly I have no idea which razor that is, I just use the cheapest ones because I'm allergic to the ones with cocoa butter in the gel strips, so I avoid them altogether. but I've only heard good things about dollar shave club.
here's a few blog posts about it, from women.
